Sage Brocklebank is a storyteller first, entrepreneur second. Born and raised in Vancouver, Sage has spent over 25 years performing on stage and screen, but his creative drive has never been limited to acting.
In 2018, inspired by his father's hands-on approach to home renovation, Sage began restoring and repurposing homes across the city. Since then, he has transformed and subleased more than 50 houses and two apartment buildings, creating imaginative, functional living spaces while Vancouver's development landscape shifts around permits and policy.
Vancouver Sublets was created out of that real-world experience. The platform was built to help tenants safely sublet their apartments while away, while also helping landlords and property managers reduce vacancy and keep units occupied. Unlike anonymous listing boards, Vancouver Sublets is operated by a real Vancouver resident with years of direct experience managing homes, working with tenants, and understanding the local rental landscape.
Sage continues to live and work in Vancouver, with a focus on making temporary housing more transparent, trustworthy, and accessible for both renters and property owners.
